I am in Italy right now, and little villas cost over 2–5 million dollars. and really tiny ones, (say something that used to hold hay, and has no windows) would be about 1 million. My friend owns a one bedroom apartment in downtown Florence and it is worth over a million. rent for a one bedroom villa, (not to own) is over 1500 Euros a month. around 2300 dollars. sorry to smash your dreams, but the USD is worth nothing here anymore.
