  Should we have a fluther ichat session?

  I think that the idea is a nice idea, but as Mariana siad many people really enjoy the anonymity of the internet, and logistically, not everyone has a camera. Though I think a video profile might be a good idea, there is also the problem of storage and bandwidth, etc. If ben wants to give it a shot i would be willing to participate, so well see.

  Will my cell phone work with my MacBook?

  The w580i will work over bluetooth with a macbook, and really all that will give you is the ability to transfer files and I think contacts(though i havent tried yet). The Sony Ericsson Software is over rated, not to mention if you got the USB cable with the phone, you can set your phone to be a USB drive for you memory card. The music player software intigrates directly into the “Music” folder on your phone and the memory card, so there is no need to really use the PC software any ways. On a unrelated side note, the phone in addition to supporting dozens of music formats (mp3, wav, wma, mp4), it can also play back 3gp video content at 30fps without even breaking a sweat, so it could even be an OK video player in a pinch. Hopes this helps. BTW, I Love my w580i I only got it a few days a go and really cant wait for my memory card so I can put some real music on it. [I HATE 64kbps audio :( ]

  Mystery Javascript snippet?

  it looks like a piece of obfuscated code. Because normally JavaScript even in it’s most complex is still humanly readable. If it is not obsfucated, then someone must have some really messed up naming conventions for their functions, etc. That is just from my experience, I am not a JavaScript guru, but for what little I know, it does not look like it would ever work for any browser.

  It really doesn’t matter. If all your computer have 802.11 G cards then set it to G, if some of your computers have G cards but others have B only cards then set it to B, because it will allow for all of the G and B clients to connect to the access point. If you have absolutely no idea what kind of cards all of your computers have, then just set it to B, because it will permit great web surfing with minimal client hassle. The only point you will see lag is when transferring big file across the internal network.
