  What are some must-see sights in Barcelona, Spain?

  I too liked walking around, particularly in the Barri Gotic section. Walking from the top of Las Ramblas down to the harbor is a nice walk. Another great way to see Barcelona is by riding on Bus Turistic which is one of those hop-on, hop-off tourist buses that goes around the city. More ideas are here on About Spain Travel: Barcelona

  i want to go on a vacation for 2 weeks in august somehwere outside the US. Where?

  I like Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada and the link is to my website about it. Just south is Banff National Park. Your trip could easily include both and maybe a side trip to Calgary. I wouldn’t call the areas exotic, but there is plenty of outdoor adventure activities in these places.
