Delighted to hear from you! Yes, I do remember, and I supposed that that was the reason. How’s it going? I hope all is well and you are happy.

If it were up to me, when people take a long hiatus they would post a little note in their profiles saying something like “Taking time off to settle into a new job. I’ll be back.” Then I don’t get all mom and start worrying about them.
