What time will you be watching the meteor shower? I’m getting ready to set my alarm for 4 a.m. The news man said 1 a.m. here, but I think he was reading it wrong.

Well, every cat is different. Some don’t mind and some hate it! You’ll have to find the best way yourself to cutting a cat’s nails. One thing I always do is give them treats after wards, that way they probably will cooperate more knowing something yummy is coming!

For cats that hate it, try wrapping them in a blanket so they’re more restrained and don’t scratch the shit out of you.

I found this, and thought of Milo

Tuna/Salmon Cat Fudge
2 6-oz cans Tuna OR 1 14 oz can Salmon – do not drain
1½ cups flour
1 TBS garlic powder or minced garlic (optional)
2 eggs
grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Process tuna, garlic and eggs in food processor or blender (or mix in a bowl). Add flour and mix to a brownie-like consistency. Spread into a 9×9-inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. When the brownies are done, they will have a putty-like texture and the edges will pull away from the sides of the pan.

Cut into squares and freeze.

Oh my god. That video…it’s so true. I hate when my cat resorts to clawing me to death in order to get me to get him food. So annoying, but he is still so snuggly and cute. Thanks for the laugh :)

Hi Gail, sorry it took me so long to reply to your comment! TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Baby Gabriel is still not sleeping so well, even though he’s on solid food now too (I heard that’s supposed to help with sleep).

We would have an animal too if we weren’t moving around so much. One day…

Jabs start a week today. I’m sure we’ll be ok. Hopefully. Maybe.

Absolutely…I apologize for the five-day hiatus. I resolved long ago to never compute on holiday (or weekends unless absolutely necessary- or bored). But I love all forms of poetry, and haiku is a fun exercise. I join many, many others (I see!) who gain immense pleasure reading your answers and insight here in the forum. I am anxiously awaiting your book, hint, hint. If it /they has/have already been written, please direct me accordingly! Au revoir ‘til then.
