  "Who do you think was the most admirable of the American Founding Fathers and why?"?

  LOL @ Chuck Norris, but I’ll cast my vote as a tie – for Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. I can’t do the “why” part justice. I think the HBO special captured the “why” well, and if you watched it you would probably understand. Despite their differences, they shared a love and passion for our country at its inception. A shame we don’t have leaders like these two anymore.

  Who calls the plays on the field for the defense?

  I think it varies, but it is usually a middle linebacker. They are in the best position (center of the field, right behind the defensive line) to see what the offense is doing, and makes calls and changes as they see fit. What is cool is this year the “signal caller” on defense will get a microphone in his helmet the same way a QB does on offense.

  What do you think about the LPGA's proposed "English-only" policy?

  I’m going to go the other way and say I kind of get what the LPGA is doing here, from a business perspective. The Korean women are AMAZING golfers. The LPGA will, inevitably, want to market those players and capitalize on their success. That being said, if they can’t speak a lick of English, that’s going to be difficult. I think this is a win-win for the LPGA and the foreign players. They are going to benefit financially from this, as will the LPGA.

  Gene Upshaw – former Raider and head of the players’ union. Died this summer at 63.

  Do I start Fred Taylor or Justin Fargas?

  Wow – this is a tough one. I am going to say that Fred Taylor is the way to go. While both Taylor and Fargas are technically the “starters” they both have guys behind them that are bigger threats in McFadden and MJD. Still, the Jaguars are a great team, and the Raiders are most certainly not. I like Taylor to gor for 80–90 total yards and a score vs. the Titans. I don’t see Fargas doing that. Go with Taylor.
