Also, if you’re interested in education and the classroom, check out a game called PMOG. There’s probably some content that’s not appropriate for younger kids, though. Maybe it’s more for high-school. Look around at the Missions page. I know a few educators who use both Wikipedia and PMOG in the classroom.
One popular Wikipedia thing is to require students to make substantial contributions to an article as a research project. You should do that! :D
