  In the documentary "Helvetica," when they are interviewing Stefan Sagmeister (approx. 50 minutes in) what are the five posters of text he has hanging on the wall behind him?

  I’m going to take really wild guess (maybe not so wild) and say that those lines of text comprise his list of “Things I have learned in my life so far”. But I think they may not be since I only know that 15–20 of those “things” actually exist. I’m really curious now! If I find out more I will get back to you!

  Any way to "distress" or lighten furniture's finish?

  Christopher Lowell once did a segment on how to achieve that “shabby-chic” look with wood furniture. It was quite interesting, he took a leather belt and whipped the wood repeatedly. It was kind of funny, but in the end the wood had all these welts and notches as if it had been aging for years.

  What is the difference between the SATS and CAHSEE testing?

  I believe the poster might be talking about the SAT as in the Stanford Achievement Test, not the Scholastic Achievement Test that the acronym is mostly known for. Sometimes it is called the SAT9 or SAT10. I remember taking these in high school in California. While this SAT is used mostly to assess students, the CAHSEE is to make sure you’ve learned the minimum of the material needed in order to graduate high school in California.

  Ok, my gut instinct was to go with .com, but I was afraid it would sound too corporate. I guess I was just paranoid. Thanks for confirming my initial thought!
