  Tourist attractions in Toronto?

  The Fringe Festival – July 1–12. This is a theatre festival that happens all across downtown Toronto (the hub being in an area called The Annex). Shows range from “fringe” theatre, conventional theatre, dance and improv. There’s a wide range of performances to see and shows cost only $10. The Tony award winning The Drowsy Chaperone and cult hit Evil Dead: The Musical both got their start at the Fringe Festival. http://fringetoronto.com/ The Second City – amazing improv and sketch comedy. Shows every night. Mike Meyers, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy… these guys started here. The talent coming out of this building is amazing. http://secondcity.com/?id=theatres/toronto The Toronto Islands are fun and beautiful in the summertime. Good for families as well. The Toronto Blue Jays are on a roll too! Jays games are fun.

  Does Canada have a good nightlife?

  This all depends on what time of year you are visiting. Toronto is amazing all year round… as is Montreal, in terms of nightlife. There is always something to do. Or maybe you want to be more specific – Jazz Festival in Montreal in June/July (can’t remmeber), Fringe Theatre Festival in Toronto first 2 weeks of July, the Calgary Stampede, the Olympics in Vancouver next year… just to name a few. Thers’s always something going on. Toronto has about a million nightclubs open every night of the week and the summers here are incredible.

  Ever had a movie-scene moment?

  I’ve had many… my life reads like a soap opera… One of the great ones though had to be kissing in the rain. I had gotten in a fight with my non-boyfriend (complicated relationship filled with love/hate but no formal titles of boyfriend/girlfriend) and I stormed out of the bar. Slammed my drink down and left in a rage. It was pouring out and of course I didn’t have an umbrella. He followed me out a few minutes later. Caught me half way down the street and kissed me in the rain. One of those hard The Notebook-type kisses. It was pretty awesome.
