  Mac help: why is my sound gone?

  nope, not on mute. :) It has that ‘don’t’ sign even when the sound it at what should be full volume. in my System Preferences, in the ‘output’ it says there are no devices found. and the sound icon, that speaker looking thing, is just not there on my top bar, next to where the battery life icon is.

  Why does it seem like most comedians are liberal?

  I think it correlates with having an open mind. Liberals are just more open-minded, therefore having a greater pool of thought to fish from. Being open-minded allows you to see more than one side of a situation, which is a basic tool for crafting jokes.

  Tourist attractions in Toronto?

  Kensington Market is awesome for some good vintage shopping and unique restaurants. If you’re into a relaxing nature walk, find The Evergreen Brickworks (on the Bayview extension north of Rosedale Valley). It’s a great hidden gem here in Toronto, if you like a good nature walk. Queen Street West is awesome for shopping as well. Also, be sure to check out the comedy in Toronto, it’s amazing. Pick up a NOW magazine when you get here to find out about some great shows in the city. Frank Gehry just redid the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) and its STUNNING! You’ve got to check it out. The Bata Shoe Museum is also really cool.

  Why do girls cake on their make up ?

  Sometimes people don’t realize how much make-up they actually have on. Especially if they’ve been out all day and re-applying, and re-applying, and re-applying, etc. And that will definitely give a ‘caked-on’ look. I carry around MAC wipes (they’re just like baby wipes) and I usually take off my make-up mid day and then re-apply a fresh coat so I don’t look like Halloween came early ;)

  My laptop keeps shuting off?

  It might be your battery. My laptop does that if I leave it unplugged for even just a few minutes. Definately take it in to be checked out.
