My apologies/condolences about your teaching-children-about-heaven thread, dear. On behalf of the atheist side of the Fluther community (with the exception of those who don’t want to apologise, of course). I’m afraid this sort of reaction is inevitable with subjects like that.
I still think it’s a good thing we have such a varied community, even if it occasionally leads to thread-derailingly vehement disagreements.
