  What should I do about my friend?

  Sometimes being the best friend means having to watch your best friend go through something you would otherwise avoid. As the best friend, you will be needed when the stuff hits the fan. Sometimes they have to come to the point where they say for themselves, I have had enough. It will always seem like that time will never come soon enough.

  How do I deal with this awkward situation?

  I bet he’s working on his sermon right now… Bring plenty of change… LOL Me… I wouldn’t care how mad he gets, I’m riding solo. Who knows, after the meeting, I may want to stop and visit a friend in town, or spend the night and drive back in the morning. If he gets mad, tell him to pray about it… He’ll be alright.

  What is the craziest law you know?

  If you drive a pickup, you are not allowed to drive on the parkways in the NY metropolitan area; not sure about other parts of the state. In some towns in NJ it is illegal to park a van or pickup truck in your driveway or in front of your house over night. In some towns in NJ it is illegal to park against the flow of traffic. If on a normal two way street and you want to park on the other side of the road, you must turn your car around so that when you pull off, you pull of with the flow of traffic not against. Some states have no such law. Also in some towns in NJ, it is illegal to exit a vehicle from any door that opens to the street side of the car as opposed to the sidewalk side of the car.
