Hi lloyd, sorry for my flippant answer to your earlier question. I ought to have continued by saying that my favorite philosopher is Alfred North Whitehead, because I love process philosophy. I’d give you a quote except that I just moved and I have no idea which box Process and Reality is in.

Hi lloydbird

I’m assuming what your questions refers to is regarding your question “Any thoughts about Kahlil Gibran?”:
The question itself was somewhat vague. Perhaps you could ask the question again regarding more specific details about Kahlil Gibran. What kind of author is this? What sort of material have they written? What are some of his prevailing viewpoints?

You mentioned a few enchanting passages you’ve read. Can you expand on why you found them enchanting? That gives the people who haven’t reading anything by this author something more to go on.

Hello Lloyd,

Thanks for your message! Yes, I know the bank and own one of their CDs, called “Spirit of Eden”. Wonderful music. I noticed you live in the UK. Do you know John Lennox (an Oxford math professor)? He wrote a book called “God’s Undertaker”. He’s also debating Richard Dawkins, maybe you know this link already:

It’s really sad how America’s scientific illiteracy keeps rising and overzealous atheists are one cause of this. The problem seems less severe in the UK and Germany.

Keep in touch and enjoy your weekend!

Hi lloydbird,

I don’t think the problem lies with the question itself so much as the ambiguous nature of the title. You’re presenting a quote that you’d like commentary on, but this doesn’t become clear until one reads the details. It might be sufficient to change it to “Could you please offer your thoughts on the following quote: ‘Who shall be happy, if not Everyone?’”, or something along those lines.

Cheers!
