  Who will buy Leopard if it actually comes out in two weeks?

  I plan to buy it, certainly. But if you have an older computer, you might do well to wait. In prior new versions of Mac OS X, Apple would tout better performance on older computers. (In fact, it spawned a pejorative term atrributed to Mac fanboys: “teh snappy.”) I don’t see much of that with Leopard. In fact, they’ve upped system requirements to exclude all G3s and G4s slower than 867MHz. Depending on what kind of Mac you have, the performance you get with Tiger could be better than with Leopard. For iPhone, Apple says they plan on including Notes integration (with Mail.app), and rumors suggest that an iPhone SDK is in the works.

  I can’t speak from personal experience, but I’ve heard good things about 37signals’ job board: http://jobs.37signals.com/ It’s smaller than many other job boards, which may work to your advantage.

  This makes sense, because the item marked was a case of water bottles, which easily could go at the bottom of the basket. I guess it’s more for the employees’ benefit, and not so much the customer. Thanks for the answer!

  What causes ridges in fingernails?

  Medical sites suggest that nail ridges are normal. However, a sudden increase in nail ridges, deep ridges, or splitting of the nail may be indicative of a medical problem. “The scientific term for what you are describing is ONYCHOSCHIZIA. It is a very common problem and occurs in women more than men. The term includes splitting, frail, soft or thin nails and ridges. The most common cause is repetitive and prolonged wetting and drying of the nails. Trauma to the fingers is also a cause. Using nail polish remover can cause it as well. In some cases, abnormal fingernails may indicate a systemic disease such as one involving the heart or lungs. Some people may inherit their nails from their parents. Another cause could be vitamin or nutritional deficiency—that would be rare in our country.
