Why are graduation ceremonies so long when NOBODY enjoys them?

Well, the number of students, the reputation of the school, the selfishness level of the school, marketing for neighbours of families, etc.

Do I ever need to add postage to a postage paid envelope?

You don’t need to add any postage to a paid envelope as the name suggests, it is paid, which means that the company and the post office have a private agreement between them. If you are still unsure, just take one of the empty envelopes and take it to a post office to confirm.

The UK is so expensive, where should I move to for a better life?

Berlin (Germany) is the cheapest developed capital in western Europe. I stayed there for about a week and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how cheap the property, the food and the life there. The other option is actually to move north in the UK. As you know the more south you go, the more expensive it gets in the UK. I live in Brighton and even though me and my partner earns really well, it is just enough to have a middle class life. I have to say though I love the British sense of humour and this is certainly something you can’t buy, wherever you go.

If i want to apply for a job, should i state that it's seasonal?

I don’t know which country are you from but there are temp-to-perm jobs which you start on a temporary basis and then if both parties are happy, you can turn your contract into permanent. Just be careful when you sign any contract because sometimes the probation period may last 6 months.
