I love the 17”. It’s my primary computer, both on my desk and as a portable. It is a bit hefty. I don’t know if I’d want to do any major traveling with it. I suppose if I needed to power to work on video or photos while traveling, I would suffer the weight. Battery life is excellent, and it’s great to have the screen res and graphics power.

  Actually I have silverkeeper which is a Lacie backup utility. I think you can set times for backups I wonder if that would work in one step. But then of course I’d be running it in the background
