  Does anyone know how long it will take to get my Windows 7 upgrade disk?

  It must be a slow down with Gateway. I pre-ordered a copy from Newegg.com and received it last Friday. Installed the upgrade and am liking the OS very much.

  Best excel formula to put daily data into weekly data?

  Depends on the version of excel If you are using the 2007 version, you can simply use the SUMIFS, AVERAGEIFS, COUNTIFS, etc. functions. Link to MS Explanation If you are using the 2003 version, you will probably want to use the DSUM, DAVERAGE, DCOUNT, etc functions. Link to MS Explanation If you’re wanting to do pivot tables and/or graphs you might need to make each week’s data fall into an exact date. Ex. Have an equation that makes 10/25/09, 10/24/09, etc into 10/19/09. This could be done by the DATE function and the WEEKDAY function.

  How do you use labels on a scatter map in Microsoft Excel?

  Are you using Excel 2007 or 2003? For 2007 (probably similar in 2003): After you graph the Scatterplot, add Data Labels (Layout Tab; Data Labels) and here it gets a little tedious depending on how many points you have. Click on one of the Data Labels (all will be selected), click on the same data label again (only the one will be selected) hit the = sign and select on the cell you want to be displayed. This would have to be repeated for each label. Alternatively, I think you could have each point be it’s own series with the series label being the cell in the A column. Then when you add the Data Labels you would select the Series Name as to be shown in the Data Label Properties. I’m not sure how many series are supported in either version, but I would imagine it would be finite. I wish I knew of an easier way…

  How much money is appropriate to spend on a wedding gift?

  $50 to $100 is a good amount. If you’re buying it as a couple I would go towards $100. I think a good rule of thumb is to cover at least the cost of your meal/beverages. Then again, if they’ve given you expensive gifts you might want to spend more.
