  @sdeutch, won’t the vodka spray make the purse smell like alcohol? The combination of old perfume and alcohol might be even worse.

  This is helpful, thanks everyone! @nimis, out of curiousity, do you happen to know which Target stores are walking distance from BART? When I searched on their website it shows some in the Peninsula and some in the east bay but it doesn’t show public transit stops nearby…

  I agree with the community gardens suggestion. You might also want to think about what specific skills you havethat a non-profit could use. i.e., do you have experience with PR or marketing – (help them spread the word about their work). Are you a good event planner (help organize a fundraiser). Are you a good writer (help with their newsletter). There are lots of ways that your specific skills could help with any non-profit, if you can help offer them something that is tailor-made to what you are good at.

  Im getting married at the courthouse this friday. Nobody I know has ever gotten married at a courthouse. He is military, so I know hes going to wear his uniform, but what should I wear?

  I have three friends who have gotten married in a courthouse. One wore a pretty floral dress, one wore a white dress (but it was less formal than a wedding gown, just a pretty white dress), and one wore a suit. Just wear anything that makes you feel beautiful and special.
