  Opinions about apple TV?

  I’m drawn towards it because: 1. It does photos, and I often want to show those off without my MacBook handy 2. It does podcasts and that’s a great source of (free) content (especially BBC radio) 3. It’s software extensible – the old version got all the new features for free, and there’s much more it’s capable of over time. What I’d like it to do, when it makes sense, is: RSS feeds, BBC iPlayer content, and simple games. Google Maps/Weather/Stocks widgets would be nice too.

  Whats the best movie you have seen lately?

  Last night I watched Sunrise, which in 1927 was the first film to get the main Academy Award – essentially the first Best Picture Oscar. It’s silent, the acting is of a style that may seem over-wrought in these days of high-def close-ups and realism, and the story is highly Romantic, but it’s still a stunner. You might be more familiar with German-Director-in-Hollywood F.W. Murnau’s earlier Nosferatu, but Sunrise is far better IMO.

  How would I clean my computer of malware and spyware?

  @Breefield: I hate to be the one to say it, but if okc405 had a Mac, he wouldn’t have the malware problem. My gf ran antivirus on her Windows machine today and found over 200 bad things.

  I Am Ledgend or 28 Days?

  My god, I can’t even say the two in the same sentence. 28 Days Later was an edgy, inventive, scary and visceral movie. I Am Legend was a vehicle for Will Smith to look alternately buff and sensitive, and a criminal waste of 100 minutes of my life. It was Turner and Hooch of The Dead. Older has nothing to do with it.

  Whats the best movie you have seen lately?

  @TheHaight: Enchanted is fantastic! I took my seven-year old daughter to see it, but really wanted to see it myself. I may have liked it more than she did. And yes, I’m so buying the DVD..
