  Can you remove silicon adhesive from tile?

  yeah, my dad said when they removed a cabinet that had been attached with silicone it took the shine off the tiles. so now he won’t use any silicone. but that stuff was installed like 20 years ago. have there been changes in silicone adhesives?

  What gross little thing is living in my apartment?

  They’re definitely not silverfish. They’re a lot smaller, no legs, and not near any water. I’ve seen silverfish before, and these are not them. I have a bad feeling that they’re carpet beetles. Assuming that’s what it is, how do I get rid of them? NB I checked out some pictures of carpet beetles. I’m pretty positive that what I saw are the larvae. I saw some beetle-like things a few months ago, vacuumed well, and didn’t have a problem again. But now that I saw the larvae I’m relatively sure I need to do a deeper clean. How?

  Why can't I open .pdfs in my browser?

  @patg7590 Safari won’t open them, either. I like firefox, except for this. But now I got that add on and it’s working fine, so I’m happy. I don’t get the option to open it in preview. How do I do that? I’ve looked in preferences, to no avail.
