  If I have a router that can transmit with b or g, Which should I set it to?

  It only matters if you have multiple devices connected and want to be able to transmit files between them over the network, or if you have a faster than normal net connection. B offers 11Mbits/s, which is faster than most broadband companies provide for net access. There’s no point in having a connection to your router faster than your net connection unless you’re making use of network resources. It’s like speeding to get stuck in traffic. If you don’t have a specific need for G speeds, just leave it at B for easiest compatibility.

  Why is "Chocolate Rain" so popular?

  @wilhel1812 – Yeah, not true at all. Just plain factually inaccurate. First, the video wasn’t posted until long after “the beginning of youtube.” Second, the only time the front page redirected videos as this year’s April Fools’ Day, when they were all redirected to “Never Gonna to Give You Up” by Rick Astley, which was completely intentional.

  Why is Connecticut considered one of the rich states when 3 largest cities in it [Hartford/New Haven/Bridgeport] are poorest of the nation?

  The current per capita income in CT is $54,117, which makes it by far the wealthiest. There is just geopgraphical disparity, as the wealthy don’t live in the cities. If Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport were combined with their immediate suburbs, they would become some of the richest cities in the nation.

  Why doesn't fluther use normal bulletin board markup?

  There isn’t a standard for forum software markup, although they generally conform close to one another. Fluther uses Textile, which is standardized.
