What does the climate has to do with my dream lol

Well I think it’s wonderful of you to help take care of your parents, or be there for them anyway. Most of my family moved away long ago, one lives in Okinawa, another Florida, another Northern Cali, all much different than here/ home.
Another thing that is hard is that I feel that I kind of resent them for spreading those wings, it seems selfish to me. Why should I, as the grandchild, stay to take care of my grandparents, while their own children take off and claim the estate after they pass. I don’t know, it’s a little difficult for me to love them or even know them after they left so long ago, with rare visits home. It’s like they encourage me to spread my own wings, but don’t offer to help out.
