  @uberbatman That’s pretty intense. @Siren I’m a believer in drugs not putting things into our brain, that stuff was already there in your head. Thanks for asking this question though, I’m also interested in OBEs and all that, so now I can track this :P

  What do you think we are beyond our physical forms?

  If you thought that documentary on NDEs was interesting, check out the book Life After Life (by Raymond Moody I think his name was). I don’t regret reading it, and maybe you won’t either. It’s a well known book, so I’m sure your library has a copy (and even better, it’s a fast read).

  Atheists: Why don't you believe in God?

  Man, everyone’s so combative and arrogant! The point I wanted to make was that science doesn’t have everything figured out yet, but thanks for mentioning the whole chemical start to life thing too Matt, I forgot about that. @Ivan Are you sure it’s not a threat? Last I checked, creationists still bring it up like it’s a valid hole. Something must be wrong with it. :P

  Do you have a personal spirituality that isn't centred around a particular religion?

  I read a book of a discussion between philosophy and physics, and it really got my mind grinding about reality. It was a gateway into reading other books like it, and I ended up pretty happy with Buddhism as a philosophy. Try looking into consciousness, and coming to a conclusion from that? Also, despite what people say, science doesn’t have everything figured out. Try checking out books that debate mainstream science (or rather, scrutinizes it to show its many imperfections and gaps in conclusive information) and you’ll find out that surprisingly, there is room for some sort of super natural force after all. A lot is oversimplified.

  How do horses perceive horse races?

  I played a horse racing game, and there was this aspect of the horses that you needed to consider as playing the jockey. The horses’s personality was pretty big, ‘cause some of them wanted to lead so you had to keep them at the front of the group for most of the race (pretty taxing!), and others preferred to be on the side or the middle (and you would save a burst of speed for towards the end). Not sure if this can be applied to real life, but Syz’s comment makes me wonder if there was a grain of truth to it after all.
