  What is the best nonprescription sleep medication?

  Kava if you can get it where you are. I get it from the local supermarket already ground in 100g bags. It’s a great relaxant, first your tongue goes numb then your legs. Or Doxylamine Succinate which is an antihistamine that acts as a calmative and sedative. I get it in an over-the-counter pain reliever called Mersyndol.

  Do you join me in liking mysteries? If so, tell me your favorite genre and why.

  I would recommend Amanda Cross to anyone that likes female detective writers (her protagonist Kate Fansler is an English Professor so the stories are literary mysteries)and for your classic British whodunnit, Dorothy L. Sayers.

  What's your favorite Western TV series or Movie, and your favorite Western character/actor?

  ‘High Chapparal’ was always my favourite (it had the coolest Indians). Does anyone remember ‘The Quest’? It starred kurt Russell as Twopersons who was raised by Indians and he teams up with his brother, Tim Mathieson, to find their missing sister. As for movies, I like Sam Peckinpah or the Bud Boetticher ones with Randolph Scott.

  Howdy southerners! What's your favorite country music?

  I’m a huge Country Music fan (well traditional country anyway). I mainly like Honkytonk and Bakersfield with a bit of Bluegrass, Cajun, Rockabilly and Old Timey. Favourite artists: George Jones, Jean Shepard, Lefty Frizzell, Buck Owens, Wanda Jackson, Merle Haggard. As for coming from the South, I guess there’s not too many people in the world that live further south than I do.

  Have you ever tried/sampled/tasted SARSPARILLA?

  We used to get it in cans when we were kids. It was called Sasparilla: old fashioned root beer and I loved it (this was a long time ago). I have seen another product called ‘Sars’ which I think is something similar but haven’t tried it; it’s not the most enticing name.
