Is it possible to be a "natural" kisser?

Asked by silvermoon (753points) October 12th, 2010

Is it possible to be a natural kisser? Strange question I know haha. Until this year I never kissed a guy and my now boyfriend thinks i’m really good. I think it’s weird he thinks that or could he just be just as inexperienced as I am?

It takes two to make a good kisser.

It is only “natural” when you kiss yourself.

I think she means , “is it possible to just know how to do it well the first time?” As in, natural born kissing machine. lol

Sure, why not?

@Aster Exactly lol. Like your ending there haha “natural born kissing machine”.

”“is it possible to just know how to do it well the first time?”

How would you know. By kissing someone else? That person having to “do it right” also. Or it will be a bad kiss.

I think it all depends on how focused you are on the other person and how you adapt your style to suit theirs. Some women I’ve kissed had very mechanical approaches, so much so that I had to physically position their heads to “get it right”.

I’ve always considered myself pretty decent at it ;)

I’ve been told several times by women, this statement. “I’ve never experienced being kissed that way. It was the most sensational kiss I have ever experienced”. So yes I think one can be considered a great kisser from the very first kiss. Smile

@Aster For the dog? Yeah I agree :¬)

I have had some bad and un-natural kisses, so yes, there is a skill and some are lacking. lol

CMaz's avatar

SO funny… It is always the other person that is the “bad” kisser. lol

silvermoon's avatar

I wouldn’t know what bad kissing is since ive only kissed my boyfriend. I can’t even judge if he’s bad or not lol. He just thinks im good.

Written's avatar

Sure. And yeah, it’s always the other person who’s the bad kisser.

I’ve never experienced a bad kiss. Though once I kissed a smoker and it tasted awful.

I don’t think that there is just one way to kiss that everyone would like.Maybe you two just got lucky ;)

Ear breathers and serpent tongues will be executed immediately!

silvermoon's avatar

@Coloma…. Ummm serpent tongues sound dangerous! As for Ear Breathers thats just gross!.

Yes. Some people are more intuitive than others… you can naturally be a good kisser and I think this also aids in being a naturally better lover than other people, as well.

I think that good and bad are relative, not much different from what @ChazMaz is saying. Maybe there isn’t a connection between the other person and yourself. Maybe what they are doing doesn’t feel good to you.. but to someone else it might be perfect.
I have never had two people kiss or touch me in exactly the same way, but many of those kisses and touches have felt equally nice. You can’t really define a good kiss or a bad kiss… it’s all about what feels good to you.

There are good kissers and then those that my dog gave me better and less sloppy kisses. I think it all has to do with a share passion for each other after which everything will simply feel “natural”!

If you play a musical instrument like a flute, clarinet, that can certainly set you up to be a good kisser.

sweetsugaryandohsohot's avatar

yea. there r probaly ‘natural’ kissers. that only cause they kiss there arms or mirrors.

Oh my Lord. What is the minimum age on this site again?

Thanks all for your responses. I still feel a little silly for asking the question and you must think im weird for being 22 and not being kissed/kissing until now.

CMaz's avatar

Well… You are silly. ;-)
