Yes. Then I married him. I love the courting. You have to go out more then once to really get to know the person.

Do you mean multiple dates, or do you mean breaking up and getting back together?

I dated this guy for six months before we went steady for about two years.
Then one day he comes up to me and he’s like, yeeeah I don’t like you anymore, and that was the end of that. Gotta revise my strategies lol.

Um, the last person I dated had one shot. I politely declined their request for a second date (and they haven’t spoken to me since then. Oh well.) I was not in the head space for the whole dating thing.

Fun fact: my parents went to high school together, then worked together at the same hospital. He asked her on one date and then proposed. They have been happily married for over twenty years. My mum loves telling that story :)

I have done very little dating in my life. With three or four exceptions, I pretty much married each of the three people I seriously dated.

I’ve had little dating, only a few where we went out that it didn’t turn into a serious longterm relationship.
