Heck Yeah! Being married is something I never imagined I would do. Right now, my wife is pregnant, and I’m lovin’ it! I can’t wait to hold my baby daughter! My wife is amazing!

What about you?

For 15 years I have been. She is wonderful and a great mother too. I told her that this morning, as a matter of fact.

Yes, though no marriage is complete without hardships. My wife is my best friend and so much more. Unfortunatly I forget to tell her enough so let me call her and tell her now….Bye

Yes! Yes! Yes! 16 years ! There have been times which were hard, but totally worth it to get to live with my best friend and love of my life forever. We have shared so many good times, and he has always been there to carry me over the bad! I love you, “Gooch”!

Yes! We just had our first child and are looking for a house. He’s a wonderful man and my bestfriend.

Absolutely! My hubby is awesome. @gooch you are right – if anyone is expecting it to be all peaches and roses all of the time, it is not, but since I drive him crazy at times and he drives me crazy at times and our kids drive us crazy almost all the time, we must work well together! (22 years together, 19 married).

I divorced after 22 years, but I am currently in the 6th year of my relationship with my SO. I am very happy with him. He is a wonderful man, and my life has improved beyond my wildest dreams since I met him. I am a very lucky woman!

this thread is so hopeful and encouraging, especially with all the divorces and broken homes you hear about every day.
I’m so glad your marriages and relationships are great!

The happy marriage is ONLY between deaf husband and blind wife.

I would be, if I were ALLOWED to get married, but because it is denied to gay men, I am happy living in partnership.

I guess I feel like I need to state that I answered “Yes”, but I am in a lesbian marriage. So “marriage” is a loose term here….. even though we did the whole ceremony with minister and all the family.

boffin's avatar

Yes, 15 years+....

scamp's avatar

Wow! so much love in here! It’s great to see!

Gay and Lesbian marriages are not marriages they are unions, partnerships, or just long term relationships. I must admit I have been in a long term relationship with a woman who was not my wife and it is a whole lot different.

I had a dream last night that my first husband,
forgave me after I forgave him.
I’ll always love my present husband, because he’s the right human being for me.
