Should chicken bones go in the garbage disposal?

I'm pretty sure only soft foods should go in the GD. The mechanism can't break up bones.

no! unless you want to call roto-rooter and pay 200 bucsk to get your drain snaked... pretty cool!

Depends on what you own. The InSinkerator website says that chicken bones, fruit rinds, coffee and more can go down the drain. People should research their answers before posting.

they could, probably, but who would want all that racket ? To say nothing of the possibility of one getting stuck and jamming the thing.

Avoid bones, eggshells, large quantities of rice, banana peels, rinds (all kinds!).
