Why can I not look him in the eye?

I have a crush who is my friend. He usually tries to talk to me but when he does I either get lost in his eyes blocking everything he is saying to me. Or I try to not look him in the eye making him feel unimportant. What do I do?

It’s a crush. That’s what is supposed to happen. Enjoy it. Enjoy that feeling of how your world narrows into just his eyes and your heart beats fast and the sound of your blood in your veins is the only thing you can hear, and you want, want, want to be in his arms.
Crushes are about pure emotions. Words don’t make sense. Also, even if you could talk, it wouldn’t make sense. Just look him in the eye, feel the feelings, and don’t worry about the rest. If he isn’t flattered at you being dumb-struck when looking at him, he doesn’t deserve your attention.
Butterflies, that is what its called.. What a wonderful thing to have such feelings for someone that has no idea they are there.. I think that everyone goes through that and its something that you have to go through.. Are you planning to tell the friend about the feelings?? Wow this is awesome, but one thing is to remember that in life we get chances and once they go by that is it, no more.. so if you really would like to know what is really there then find out… But I wonder if they know already cause people tend to actually see the feelings without you saying much of anything..
It is because you have a crush on him. Try letting him know how you feel.
