(possibly NSFW) Are there any special protocols for menstruating zookeepers?

This is an odd question ..but I was wondering, for women zookeepers, if there are any special guidelines or protocols during menstruation (around the larger mammals).

Is the scent of menstrual fluid a hazard (especially around the mammals that are “safe” to be around while doing regular zookeeping duties)?
