What ever tiny, tiny bits of knowledge that I have gleaned about womenkind over the past many years, I do wish I had known at the age of 16.

I wish I had known I would turn out to be a photographer, then, I would haveade many diffrant decisions. But then, I have to ask myself; would I be thean I am today, and would I still answer this question the same? I would not be me, I would be someone else.

I wish that I had known how my peers perceived me. When I was in HS, I was a sweaty, scared, anxious bundle of nerves. I didn’t wear my glasses except when absolutely necessary, wandered around half blind and was embarrassed at being at the top of the class academically.

I went back to a HS reunion recently, I discovered that the world saw another girl -admirably intelligent, confident, successful, good looking.

I also worried about having uncountable physical flaws.

That following your dreams and believing in yourself can take you anywhere.
Be kind to others and share your talents with the world and the world will find a home for you. Don’t be afraid to dream big…. no, even bigger… no really, even bigger!
The sky and stars are the limit… Enjoy the journey, it’s half the fun….

This is sort of what Lovelyy was saying but:

I wish I could have been more perceptive about people, what was really motivating them, their unsaid or unseen objectives, and how to elicit what I really wanted or needed from them. I wish I knew how to motivate people better, especially colleagues from work, whether bosses or folks who worked for me.

In my personal life, the same thing about perception applies: I have apparently missed countless signals from women who were flirting with me or who were attracted to me and I am just beginning to realize how badly I performed the “mating dances”. But things worked out just fine for me and my 25th wedding anniversary is exactly two weeks from today.

The only thing I would add is that, contrary to your question, I don’t worry all that much about what I didn’t know when I was younger. I am working on figuring out NOW what I still don’t know about life and about myself, rather than learning about it when I turn 65 or 70, which frankly is not that far off.

Nothing is as black and white as it seems. There is alot of grey in the world.

You can make a change. Act today.

Kindness is rare, love is precious.

Truth will bring you happiness, no matter how much you fear the answers.

Its important to listen, not just wait for your turn to talk.

You don’t have to go to college. It makes you an employee, not an employer.

The older I get, the more I realize how little I actually know.

And just as important. There are some things that we’ll never know or just don’t have answers to. And on the other hand, alot of seemingly complex questions have simple answers. i.e.

Q: What’s the meaning of life?
A: To pass on your genes.

that evolution is just a theory that is not proven in any way shape or form to be actual proof (there’s no linkage from one to another, none what so ever).

I wish i’d know not to not even care about most of the silly mistakes you make through out the day, and not to keep a list in your mind of them.

Mistakes are natural, and i’m only starting to realize that.
