I've noticed on my profile it says "topics" and it has a list of topics that I'm interested in receiving questions for. How do I choose topics to add my list?

This is a little bit of a weak point for us right now. We plan on adding a much easier and direct way to add topics to your profile in the near future. Right now you can do it anytime you see a topic on a question (or anywhere on the site) just by mousing over that topic and clicking “Add Topic”.

This is something I’m actively working on right now.

One thing you can do is modify the url.

If I wanted to add “poverty” I would go to http://www.fluther.com/topics/poverty/ and from there you will find a button.
