IPhone SMS,contacts and photo back up question?

I am trying to get my SMS,contacts and pictures on my iPhone to be put either onto my computer or onto iTunes and I don’t know how to do this.
Any help or advice would be greatly received.

When you sync your iPhone it should do all of this automatically. If not, when your iPhone appears in the iTunes control bar click it and check the settings as it should always take a complete back up. I back mine up to a mac, and when I do it automatically launches iphoto to transfer any images on there. I’m pretty sure that gallery in windows does the same, although you may have to manually transfer them.
