What are some good songs to describe my situation?

Asked by ryan9305 (297points) November 14th, 2010

I know this sounds weird but I am looking for some good songs that are about being free and happy after breaking up with somebody. Any kind or genre of music is ok.

ABBA’s “Happy Hawaii” and “You Owe Me One”

Both songs sound cheerful and have an optimistic outlook, something you need after a break-up.

Yes…yes, i’m getting a distinct country music feel here. Something poignant but with a positive upbeat message. How about I kicked my girl to the dirt & now i’m lookin for another filly. Sounds fairly plausible to these ears :¬)

Although I absolutely hate this song, Solo by Jason Derulo describes you I think
