General Question

We are installing antique sconces on the walls of our dining room.

Asked by peggylou (1138points) April 4th, 2007
We are disappointed to see that the back plates of the sconces are too narrow to cover the hole in the wall for the electric box. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I come to you from the future…sconces will be out of style in three years.

sconces are those brit biscuits?

Shove a scone in there. Preferably not the blueberry kind. Those are the best to eat and you shouldn’t waste them.

How about you spakle the hole to narrow it to the width you need and then paint over it?
