Can I pair ipad wireless keyboard to windows 7 pc?

Asked by joon1986 (185points) November 24th, 2010

I am planning on buying “iPad” wireless keyboard
while doing some research I found out that Apple’s wireless keyboard uses Bluetooth to pair with iPad
my question is that if my laptop has Bluetooth, will this wireless keyboard pair with my PC?
Has anyone tried it??
if you know anything about it let me know ^^

Apple does not discriminate.

The bluetooth Apple wireless keyboard will connect to your PC as long as your PC has bluetooth.

@squirbel I know apple wireless keyboard for MAC works for PC
but will the one that is specifically designed for iPad work as well?

I would try it, no harm can come from trying.

I had to ask my computer engineer husband about it. We both have an Apple preference. He told me that it should, but you need to remember that some of the keyboard have some key commands such as the apple key (or command key) is different. But he also told me that the command key on the Apple keyboard should also appear on the pc keyboard with a pc key.
