If you have made your own holiday fabric gift bags, would you share your secrets, tips, etc?

How do you attach gift tags?

What are the dimensions of your most used bags?

How many did you make per family member?

Have you made them without a sewing machine?

What ribbon works best?

How much ribbon do you use in relation to width of bag?

Were they well received by all family members?

What else should we know?

The best fabric gift wrap I have used is wrapping presents with towels. That way they get two presents in one, no sewing involved. I don’t use ribbon, but rather shiny yarn, which I use to tie the gift tags and the towels.
