Why do I press exit sometimes when I'm trying to ask a question?

Asked by jlelandg (3536points) November 29th, 2010

I am pretty sure I have pressed exit 3–4 times before asking a question instead of “Ask Fluther”. Luckily I remembered today and was able to go back on my browser. Does anyone else do this?

Even experienced professionals do it.

I have done that. More often though, I’ll be trying to answer and click “next activity” instead of “answer”. It is nice of the browser to save the previous work or I would be a more frustrated person than I am.

So is there something we can do to stop this?

@jlelandg Pay attention to what you are doing.

@jlelandg I guess we could have a pop up window that asks “Do you really want to leave this page with unposted items?” But that would get more annoying than the original problem.
I get irritated enough with “Are you sure you want to move these 12 items to the recycle bin?”

yep, will complete the question…. and say to myself, how dumb! From reading the answers, everyone probably does it. Even @augustlan ! Enough said.

@erichw1504 same here. Now that you all mention it, it will likely happen! Thanks.
