What service do you think this site will offer?

Asked by Tintels (123points) December 1st, 2010

What would you think of when a website would be called firsthands? As in www.firsthands.com. I would like to see if free associations would be close to the ideas that we have..

It sounds like a kind of emergency medical service to me.

Or maybe some kind of clothing or department store that sells things that aren’t straight off the shelves, but aren’t second hand, either. I don’t know what that would be. Or it could mean that you don’t take returns. Everything is fresh out of the box.

Specialized vacations where you get to do cool things “first hand.”

I think of some type of medical service or perhaps some product for toddlers or infants.

@wundayatta Not some much and emergency “medical” service. Considering first-aid is called that because of the first person to assist to that emergency medical need. Since we are talking “first-hand” this could encompass all situations where a hand might be needed in an urgent situation and I will stop at that!! XD

Sounds like a volunteer organization that gets volunteers to sign up online and pitch in in person. The people the site recruits are the “first hands” on the job.

OR

A travel agency that specializes in getting you to new and exciting places where you get to experience the area “first hand”!

Should be a site without hearsay :-)
