Which heels make a woman the sexiest?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) December 11th, 2010

From what I am seeing heels are trending right now. What is your opinion, heels <insert number here> inches high make a woman most sexy? The criteria is what is sexy and cool with fashion or if she is just in heels and nothing else not what is fuctional to go about the day in. What is the tallest pair of heels you own and how often do they get any wear?

It really depends on the woman and her sense of style and body shape. I just bought these heels. Though hot…. I’m 5’9’’ without heels and, 4 inches make me 6’1’’ I’ll still sport them with the right outfit. Shoes can be hot and not high heeled too. It’s how the woman carries herself that matters.
The Tallest pair of heels I own is 5 inches…

I don’t wear hells except low heels. I decided that it was barbaric.

i love it when women wear heels. I don’t know much about shoes so I can’t really give you an answer. I have the biggest thing for feet so I really love to see a woman dangling them or sliding her feet in and out of her heels. I guess any pair of heels that doesn’t look cheap. I think closed toes look sexier than open toe just because they leave the rest to the imagination lol.

Another 5’9” woman here. I rarely wear tall heels anymore, because my husband isn’t thrilled when I am taller than him. To some degree, neither am I. However, I have a range of shoes from very small kitten heels (which I do wear often) to a pair of 5” stilettos. Those get worn on… special occasions.
I used to enjoy wearing tall heels for a handful of reasons. One being that as tall as I am, I’m quite leggy, and the heels just amplify that. Also I feel that the way a high heeled shoe forces a thrust into your walk is very sexy, and it just makes me feel more confident overall. I am not even close to being one of those women that obsesses over shoes, but the right pair of heels makes me melt.

It’s dependent on the shape, length and thickness of her ankles and legs. Most women look okay with a 3” heel. Slim long legs and ankles look good in ankle straps and can wear thinner heel shapes whereas thick ankles and thick legs look best in slings, D’Orsays or low-buckles with a thicker heel. I don’t know any legs that look good in squared chunky Franken-heels.

I hate heels. I think most women look dumb as shit in them. At least ones higher than a few inches. I, again, think most women look phony and like they are trying too hard. They essentially exist for men’s viewing pleasure….PASS.

I can’t wear higher than 3½” all day without discomfort. I prefer stilettos. I do have one 4½” pair that I bought for a costume. After an hour, they had to come off, but it was nice to be 5’ 5½” for that hour!

Because I’m 5’8’’ and still have many issues with my height, I don’t own any heels taller than 3 inches. My black boots get worn most frequently, as do most of my others boots. I like shoes in varying styles, but I’m obsessed with boots. I love boots. <3

Why do women wear painful clothing simply to titilate males (or maybe other females???). Heels are the worst, they are not only hurting, they are bad for posture, etc..

Tell the men you will wear them when they wear them too, same for skin tight jeans and itchy lacy bras and undies!

Sorry dude, it just needs to be said whether you want to hear it or not.

@rooeytoo Women are extremely self concious of their appearances and love to look as sexy as possible. They do it for themselves as well. Not my fault that I can wear only a pair of well broken in work boots and a pair of old worn out briefs that have skid marks in them and all the woman go wild for me. Yes comfort is king!

@rooeytoo thats what im sayin! yee-uh.

rooeytoo's avatar

@Mikewlf337 – can you get any real women to affirm that they go wild for you, heheheh???? Or are you only a legend in your own mind! I really kind of wonder about what type of woman would be attracted to dirty underwear on a man?

Mikewlf337's avatar

@rooeytoo ask the ones who fall for my manly attire of worn out boots and underwear. I hope you know I’m not serious lol.

@rooeytoo: I’m a heels lover that wears them more for myself than other women or men. I wear them because I like them, the look of the shoes themselves, the height they give me and the fact I can walk, run and climb in them without being awkward or obnoxiously loud. Heels don’t have to deform and make feet uncomfortable either.

What if the woman has cankles? what heels would be best for them :P

@Neizvestnaya – okay, lets see pics of you running in heels. And what kind of climbing do you mean???

@Mikewlf337 – I was hoping you were kidding, but one never knows!!!

Neizvestnaya's avatar

@rooeytoo: I’ve had to trot through airports and parking lots before, not twisted ankles or broken heels. I’ve also ended up scouring up and down a few hillsides for on the fly adventures and managed well enough with no tumbles. Let’s see… oh yeah, I’ve climbed into more than a few trees while in heels. It’s never planned out but I’m usually in 3–4” heels so life happens and I try to keep up.

rooeytoo's avatar

@Neizvestnaya – well then you are my new sporting hero. Not many could manage those feats. Next I guess you will tell me you were in a sexy tight skirt at the time as well, hehehe!

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

I don’t find it difficult to run in heels. I think it’s just a matter of how often you wear them.

Neizvestnaya's avatar

@rooeytoo: Nah, I’m not much for “sexy” tight clothes but I’m told I pull of a “sexy school teacher/librarian” look rather well ;p

incendiary_dan's avatar

None. In fact, ditch the shoes altogether, they’re not good for the feet.

@Mikewlf337 “Women are extremely self concious of their appearances and love to look as sexy as possible. They do it for themselves as well.”

Lies! Some of us would rather be comfortable or tasteful than sexy. Most sexy clothes and shoes are neither.

rooeytoo's avatar

@TheOnlyNeffie – I have never seen a woman do a 5k in heels, so maybe the word run is being used in a different way. You mean trot a few steps to catch a bus before it pulls away or to catch up with someone. But I don’t believe your or @Neizvestnaya can really break into and sustain a real running gait in heels.

So if I am wrong, video yourself and put it on youtube, I want to see!

Mikewlf337's avatar

@Haleth I’m not a liar. Most people wear any fashion to please themselves and others. That’s why we don’t wear burlap sacks.

Which heels make a woman the sexiest?

The ones attached to her feet: the prominences at the posterior end of the foot; based on the projection of one bone, the calcaneus or heel bone, behind the articulation of the bones of the lower leg.

It’s not the shoes that make a woman sexy; it’s her confidence.
