Is there a website where you can make a REAL person?

Asked by walawalabingbang (38points) December 11th, 2010

I mean you know.. Where you can put makeup on a person, change their features, etc. I mean you know there are places and games where you can makeup a cartoon but is there a place that gives you REAL human features to work with?

Second life? You can also program and design features and import them into the game. With coded behaviors etc. Allows for great creativity. http://secondlife.com/
There’s lots of architects in game… one’s made a virtual version of Amsterdam. Pretty cool to explore.

Here is another vote for Second LIfe. I met my fiance there, and his avatar looked much like his real life persona. Just know that probably the majority of members go for a younger, sexier look, if even a character within the same sex as their real person.

Once a member learns not to judge another by their avatar’s charasteristics and expect a similar real life person, it can be an interesting place to hang out on the internet.

@Pied_Pfeffer well said – and this makes for a good debate. On taking away the surface until much later. Helping people fight their own biologically forced fallacies. Choosing personality first, and being accepting and lenient with the surface.

IMVU.com is another, similar to Second Life. Personally, I find it easier to navigate.. but, SL seems ot have a bigger following.

Search “virtual makeovers” on Google, and you’ll find a lot more.
