Would you rain your own parade before its raining?

Asked by mithical (289points) December 22nd, 2010

Let’s say you are in charge of your city’s parade committee. On the important day the wondrous parade is set to begin, you start noticing some afar, dark clouds and you just heard the radio host that there is a 70 percent chance of rain.

Would you—and it isn’t possible to reschedule—rain down on your own parade before any actual precipitation? What I mean by that is would you cancel it given the circumstances and unexpected climate, or would you continue on and enjoy as much as you can all the hard work put into the floats, etc.?

enjoy as much as you can.

The people there will notice it’s about to rain and leave when if they are afraid of water.
