I think part of the problem is “someone has to be the first.” People just look and see it is dead and bail. If they left it open in a new tab the audio alert would let them know someone entered. Then it would grow as people saw that it was active.

I’d probably pop in if there were a regular chat. I still probably wouldn’t stay long, since it’s too much going on at once for me to stay sane.

I know. The time difference is always going to be an issue, but we could at least poll those responding to this question and see if we can find a time that most of us could make it. No reason there can’t be several different chat times scheduled either. Euro Jelly Chat, North America Jelly Chat. LOL
