Am I the only one who feels like soft money is a way to simply get around the system?

If I understand what it means correctly that is what it seems like to me….

Am I wrong in thinking this way? Or do I just not understand what soft money truly is?

I mean if it goes to the affiliated party in the end it and will overall likely go the person who leads that party won’t it? And more so it beats the purpose of money caps as well?
