Is there no way to add yourself to your Fluther anymore?

Asked by DeanV (14216points) December 28th, 2010

Because I kind of miss that easter egg.

But I suppose with the new profiles and the “follow” instead of “add” system that’s all gone now.

Or am I just really missing something.

Looks like not; a number of the Fluthery quirks have gone in recent months (although many are still around.)

You can still add/follow jellies to your fluther, but it will not show up in the community feed, neither will so-and-so received a great answer/great question. Sniff, sniff, boohoo, I really miss that feature.

@AmWiser No, I mean the easter egg when you tried to add yourself.

It was pretty awesome.

Ooops! My bad. I never seent that….carry on!:D

@AmWiser For the record, when you clicked “Add Yourself To Your Fluther” it would link you to this page.

Kinda funny, I thought.

A lot of the gentle, funny humor has evaporated in recent months, I’m afraid.

And no, “funny humor” isn’t redundant. Not when you consider how much intended humor isn’t funny.

@dverhey :D
I hope Fluter maintains a lot of its humor, it’s what makes the site unique.

Yeah it isn’t there anymore. I got a kick out of doing it like fifteen times in a row and going WORK damnit.

Aw. That sucks ass. I enjoyed that a lot! I too think Fluther is starting to dry up a bit.

It alsto seems, beg my pardon, that we are getting some of the overfill from yahoo answers. Seeing some of the questions and answers, there are some more people with a negative attitude popping up here and there. Is this just me? I know a couple others agree.

I’ve been noticing a bit of an overflow of the Answerbag variety questions myself, lately. :/ Nothing extreme though.

Oh, hey, look at this.

There is a way. Just go to someone’s “following” list and find yourself. Yaaay.

It’s not as easy as it once was, though…

Berserker's avatar

Haha yeah, I just noticed that today. It still won’t let me add myself…
