Buying book on Amazon(International site) at countries outside of USA?

I stumbled upon on a book i have been longing for a long time on Amazon lately. I decided to order the book, but i am living in China, and after google about the book, i found the book is only available on amazon international site. could you please tell me if it is possible to buy book from Amazon in China? If it’s possible how are they going to deliver the book to my address, how much time it takes? Should i fill shipping address with English and also Chinese? Thanks.

i’v bought a book from amazon months ago. it was delivered within 15 days or so. There was no problem with delivery. You can pick some delivery options, like “fast but expensive” or else. I have no idea on Chinese stuff, but i believe it will be better to write it in Chinese too.

This page of the Amazon site has info about shipping to Asia.It looks like it would take between 2 to 4 weeks to arrive, unless you choose to pay for faster shipping.

As for your address, I wouldn’t worry about whether the info is in English or Chinese – when my sister was living in Japan, we sent things to her (letters and packages) all the time and had no problem with the address being written in English. I’m sure the Chinese postal service deals with English addresses all the time.

I’ve done it to Hong Kong, no problems.
If you live in a big city, I think an English address will be fine; though it can’t hurt to put it also in Chinese. If you live out in rural China, Chinese address will probably be important.
