I'm trying to marble my nails, but the polish keeps sticking to the toothpick - how can I make it not do that?

Asked by troubleinharlem (7991points) January 3rd, 2011

The water is room temperature and everything is fine, but when I try to drag the toothpick through the polish in the cup, it always sticks to the wood and won’t come off.

How can I get it to stop? Is there a certain type of nail polish that I should use or something?

I really have no idea but what if you put a lubricant on the toothpick… like a little Vaseline?

Maybe soak it in nail polish remover to deter the polish?
