What is your experience with FIOS? Can you honestly recommend it?

I am contemplating getting FIOS for phone and internet and got very poor customer service from Verizon but when you look on the net it seems like still the best thing in town.
Opinions? Experiences?

I have FIOS, and I love the service itself. Verizon’s customer service is poor though.
I prefer my Fios TV to Dish.
Dish truly has the worst Customer Service I have ever had to deal with.
I have worked in Provider Relations, Public relations and Customer Service. I have been a Supervisor and I would fire all Dish Customer Service people. They are totally incompetent and told me I had to take care of their glitch by calling our local TV Station.
The picture quality is usually excellent on Fios. We have had a few problems since we have it. Glitches do happen. After the Black Out last March they took their time restoring service. HD quality is good.
I do have occasional problems with my wireless connection. If you take MSN through Fios and have Windows7 the program does not work right.
I worked for a local Cable Company at one time. Most companies are pretty much the same. If you switch often you can beat them at their game.
I don’t take Movie Channels because the movies are very old.
