Lucille is leaving on jet plane this weekend for a very important and possibly life changing medical procedure and I thought we all could say good luck and share some happy thoughts to take with her. Sister Jelly Vunessuh will meet up with her and can only imagine the scene those two will make while out there.
Have a safe trip Kiddo! This one is for you!

Update: Lucille is doing really well. She made her flight safely and is having her procedure done this afternoon and will call me when it’s over to tell me how things went. When I see her tomorrow I will jump into her arms and give her a big hug from all of you! :]

I just got word from @Vunessuh that “the procedure went well, it was a success and she felt a difference already in the feeling of her hands and feet.” Maybe V will post more details later. Lucy should be on her way home and hopefully check in here soon to make us all laugh and smile with stories of her trip.
It was definitely a success, she looks fantastic and says she feels a lot better already. Recovery isn’t too bad either which is great!
We walked on the beach for a bit and collected some pretty gnarly looking seashells for her artwork and then we watched the ending of Babe 2 and giggled at Jersey Shore and ate some yummy Chinese food and talked a little bit about Fluther. ;)
