Why can't you wait to see tomorrow?

Asked by Vincent_Lloyd (3007points) January 7th, 2011

Well….why can’t you? Mind telling me what you look forward to each day as the years, months, and hours pass?

I live on property in a beautiful secluded area and love waking up on my little mountain.
I enjoy my geese and cats, being surrounded by nature, peace, safety, privacy.
I work in my local tourist community part time only 10 minutes from my house and have lots of freedom. I also do interior design and home staging work.

My schedule is flexable and I have lots of freedom, the way I like it.

The area itself is gorgeous, the main drag of my community runs through a state park with a premiere white water river and rafting, camping, and hiking opportunities, & tons of wildlife.

My 23 year old daughter and I have a great relationship, and I have several old friends nearby.

I really in-joy my mellow little bohemian lifestyle.
It’s all good, and I am happy and content. ;-)

I look forward to who knows? What kind of excitement or pleasure might be coming my way? Heavy on the ‘might’ but it’s possible!!

I don’t look forward to nothing unless it’s my evening/night beer lol.

Because it means that I have survived today.

it’s only a day away.

I do apologise, it seems I got a little carried away there….

Because it’s another day, a blank canvas for life.

For the same reason that I am thrilled to see today, this morning, this minute. There is only 8” of snow, the power is still on, I make a successful navy bean soup in my slow cooker, there is a full bag of kitty litter in the car, and I heard my 6-week old great-niece squeak to me on the phone.

Getting older lends itself to more contentment.
Life experience+mellowing hormones makes everything calmer. lol
